eBay’s ‘Buy It Now’ Patent Dispute Resurfaces (Seeking Alpha via Yahoo! Finance)
Virginia-based two-man operation MercExchange LLC has filed a motion for an injunction against eBay’s “Buy It Now” feature on its auction website. MercExchange claims it owns the patent to “Buy It Now;” their dispute began in 2001.
