OSI Pharma sues Teva and Mylan over Tarceva patent (AP via Yahoo! Finance)
OSI Pharmaceuticals Inc. said Friday it is suing Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. and Mylan Inc. for patent infringement, as the companies are seeking to market a generic version of OSI’s daily cancer pill Tarceva.

KCI Announces It Will Appeal German Patent Ruling (Medical News Today)
Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE:KCI) announced that the German Federal Patent Court has ruled that a German patent licensed to KCI from Wake Forest related to KCI’s V.A.C. technology is invalid. The validity of the German patent (EP 0620720 (DE 69224847)) is being challenged by Medela, M lnlycke Health Care AB, and Smith & Nephew plc.

Anello stayed Wave Loch Inc.’s patent infringement claim against American Wave Machines, Inc. following the United States Patent Office’s order for reexamination of three patents issued to Wave Loch and Tom Lochtefeld.
