Appeals court vacates Finisar’ patent win against DirecTV (AP via Yahoo! Finance)
A federal court of appeals on Friday sent Finisar Corp.’s patent infringement suit against DirecTV Group Inc. back to a lower court, vacating decisions that called for DirecTV to pay Finisar more than $100 million for infringing on an information-transmission patent.
