Software development company JuxtaComm Technologies has filed a legal case against a range of high profile companies, including IBM and Microsoft , for alleged breaches of a data-integration patent.

Patent Awarded For Weed Instrument Field-Replaceable Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) (PharmaceuticalOnline)
Weed Instrument of Round Rock, Texas has announced that its popular field-replaceable RTD is now patented. Designed to facilitate easy replacement of the temperature-sensing element without the use of a standard thermowell, the Model 461 Sanitary RTD now carries Patent Number 5,632,557.

iRobot files patent suit against Illinois company (BizJournals)
Burlington-based iRobot Corp. reports it has filed two lawsuits against an Illinois robotics manufacturer and its president for alleged patent infringement and misuse of confidential information.
