ConAgra, maker of Egg Beaters liquid eggs, dropped a patent-infringement lawsuit against Michael Foods of Wayzata and its competing Better’n Eggs product at the end of April. Michael Foods now can move ahead with plans to add two Better’n Eggs products, one with three cheeses and one with ham and cheese. Egg Beaters owns about 50 percent of the $197.7 million market for liquid eggs.

Nokia said late Wednesday that it learned it was the target of a patent infringement in the U.K. by Qualcomm when it read Qualcomm’s press release and hadn’t yet seen an actual copy of the complaint.
